Join us in making a difference in the lives of young adults who have lost their mobility due to a traumatic event. We have been humbled by the passion and effectiveness of the efforts of our volunteers to help us in this mission. Everyone is able to contribute, we have found that age is no limitation.
Two six year old boys, Andrew and Timothy, make greeting cards and sell them to their grandparents and other family members and send us a share of their profits. A middle school student bakes cookies and cup cakes and sends us over $270 from her efforts. An entire school, K-12 determines to have donation Tuesdays for a month where you bring two bills of your choice - 2 $1s, 2 $5s, etc. and raise $1000s. In addition, they sell almost 500 T-shirts at $15 each. A local manufacturer hosts an open house and invites 400 guests to tour their facilities and dedicates the day to raise donations for Steps2Hope. A flooring company donates all the flooring and installation for a home. An electric contractor donates all the wiring and labor for a home. Several individuals offer land for the building of homes to accommodate special mobility need individuals. The stories go on and on.
The thing that thrills us the most is that every action, every gift of time, every financial gift whether it be 20 cents, $2, $20, $200, $2,000 or $20,000 makes a positive difference in the lives of those that many times feel helpless. Steps2Hope aims to ensure they never feel hopeless.
